Drew Howard & Birthday Boy
Today these two artists released their brand new collaborative EP entitled Music to Soothe the Savage Youth which is a perfect blend of both their music styles. Birthday Boy laces R&B melodies with trap-esque beats and futuristic hip hop sounds. Drew Howard (formerly known as 88 Camino) unsurprisingly dominates those beats. Must-listen-to-tracks are “Robin Williams” and “No Pressure”. Savage Youth candidly represents what it’s like to be young in Toronto.
In just three years, future funk producer Harrison has gone from viral soundcloud sensation to signing with Last Gang Records. On April 7th 2015, Harrison released his debut EP Colours which featured Toronto singer Maddee on a couple songs including “How Can It Be” which is accompanied by great visuals (best viewed on a mobile device).
