Alexis Eke is an artist worth supporting. She makes great use of negative space, often illustrating in a way that best contrasts her colours and figures. Brown, red and white are key signatures of her work as is the marionette quality that she attaches to her figures. Her style is unmistakable. Whether she’s paying homage to TDE members (SZA and Kendrick) or pushing through an “art block,” Eke’s work remains consistent in both content and quality.

Over the last year, she’s been getting more attention and rightfully so. The artist has been recognized by multiple publications and has exhibited her work at Blank Canvas Gallery. To support her work check out the link below – you won’t be disappointed.
